Veritas Caspian LLP - The company is a Limited Liability company registered under Kazakh legislation, having been formed in August 2005 for the purpose of acquiring an extensive data library programme on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. The company is a joint venture company formed between Veritas DGC Ltd and KazMorGeophisica CJSC, which is a subsidiary of the established offshore support company Caspian Services Inc.

The Kazakhstan data library project, officially named the 'State Geophysical Survey of the Republic of Kazakhstan' is intended to provide the advanced geophysical information necessary for detailed evaluation of prospective open blocks in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea.
